Delta, OH

The Industrial Hub of Fulton County

Located between the two larger municipalities of Wauseon and Swanton , Delta serves as an industrial hub for Fulton County. Affiliated Lumber is located just east of Delta on County Road 3, 1.3 miles south of Airport Highway (US Route 20A).

The village of Delta has an estimated 3,103 people in the village incorporated limits, according to the 2010 census. The downtown developed north of the Lake Shore and Michigan Southern Railroad line and depot.

Delta's industrial strength sets it apart from other cities in Fulton County and rivaling that much larger cities. North Star Bluescope, Worthington Steel, Fulton County Processing, Bunting Bearings, and NatureFresh Farms all have production facilities in Delta. In 2020, North Star Bluescope announced a steel mill expansion at its Delta facility and Nova Tube and Steel announced plans for structural tubing plant nearby.

Delta Reservoir

With 2 reservoirs on site serving the general population as well as NatureFresh and North Star Bluescope Steel, the Delta Reservoirs offer fishing and recreation. The East Reservoir is very shallow (10 ft) while the West Reservoir is much deeper (50 ft), and each is accessible by shore or by boat ramp. In the winter, the reservoir serves as a sledding hill.

Fraker Mill Covered Bridge

Located just 1.7 miles south of downtown Delta, the Fraker Mill Covered Bridge is a showpiece of the Wabash Cannonball Trail's North Fork. Erected by the Northwestern Ohio Rails-to-Trails Association Inc. and dedicated in 2006, the bridge over Bad Creek is a Delta landmark and excellent photo opportunity.

The self-described "Best Restaurant in Delta, Ohio" - we are in agreement, and we'd probably add best bar and patio as well. Upscale and approachable, the food and drink menus offer everything from sandwiches to choice steaks and fresh seafood, Pabst Blue Ribbon to classic cocktails.
